Proposition 30 - NO
Temporary Taxes to Fund Education. Guaranteed Local Public Safety Funding. Initiative Constitutional Amendment.
We recommend a “NO” vote on Prop. 30. Sacramento is out of control and the last thing they need is more money from hardworking taxpayers.
Proposition 31 - YES
State Budget. State and Local Government. Initiative Constitutional Amendment and Statute.
We recommend a “YES” vote. Prop. 31 will help reform Sacramento and put California on a more stable two year budget cycle.
Proposition 32 - YES
Political Contributions by Payroll Deduction. Contributions to Candidates. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “YES” vote. Proposition 32 will help curb the influence of special interests in Sacramento by limiting contributions to political campaigns and it’s about time.
Proposition 33 - NO
Auto Insurance Companies. Prices Based on Driver's History of Insurance Coverage. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. Proposition 33 is another surcharge on automobile insurance. Good drivers don’t deserve to pay more for insurance.
Proposition 34 - NO
Death Penalty. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. The death penalty is reserved for the most heinous of crimes and eliminating it sends the wrong message to criminals.
Proposition 35 - YES
Human Trafficking. Penalties. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “YES” vote. Human Trafficking is a growing problem in California and across the Country. We must do all we can to put a stop to this deplorable problem and protect victims of trafficking.
Proposition 36 - NO
Three Strikes Law. Repeat Felony Offenders. Penalties. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. Proposition 36 will weaken the “three strikes” law that has put repeat offenders behind bars, where they belong. Proposition 36 sends the wrong message to criminals.
Proposition 37 - NO
Genetically Engineered Foods. Labeling. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. Propostion 37 is not about food safety, it’s about making trial lawyers rich. Savvy attorneys will use Prop. 37 to extort money from businesses killing jobs and chasing businesses out of State.
Proposition 38 - NO
Tax to Fund Education and Early Childhood Programs. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. Proposition 38 is just another attempt to get the hardworking taxpayers of California to give the state more of their hard earned money. Californians can’t afford Prop. 38.
Proposition 39 - NO
Tax Treatment for Multistate Businesses. Clean Energy and Energy Efficiency Funding. Initiative Statute.
We recommend a “NO” vote. Proposition 39 will raise taxes on businesses costing California more jobs and forcing more businesses out of State. We need more jobs and more businesses to grow the economy, not less.
Proposition 40 - YES
Redistricting. State Senate Districts. Referendum.
“We recommend a “YES” vote. Propostion 40 will keep the citizen drawn senate districts in place instead of letting judges draw the districts. Proposition 40 protects voters.
